12 months ago i purchased a hotpoint ultima washer dryer during a refit of my kitchen, it was the biggest mistake i made in the entire refit! The machine does a good wash and is excellant at spinning having a 1600 spin speed. The problem comes from the supposed 'dryer' facility. This is most definatly not a washer 'dryer'. It takes about 5 hours to go through a complete washer/dryer cycle and at the end of that time the washing is anything but dry. Clothes still need to be hung over my central... Pros: stunning looks i had aliminium- good variety of programes
Cons: on my second replacement in 6 wks extremely noisey

on my second replacement now in 6 weeks due to machine becoming extremely noisey down to external drum problems,now thst has failed on the same problem.The spec on product always states[SUPER SILENT]-NO WAY HAVE I FOUND THIS TO BE TRUE,only the start of cycle. Hotpoint take ages to send engineers ,more than a week sometimes.i would definately not recomend any Hotpoint washimg machines.I shall be asking for a refund and puchasing an alternative make.
