It would have been great to know from the get-go that the item I ordered was not in stock. I still do not understand why they went ahead and charged my account for an item that is not and has not been close to shipping or in stock for that matter.

I was expecting to get a phone call for delivery further ahead than the day-of. At least a 24-hour notice, and more desirably, a 48-hour notice. Also, it needs to be stated ahead of time that they cannot go upstairs.
