After getting the price of a freezer off the ******* web site went to Sainsburys site and orderd a hotpoint on the 18th of May, which because of a bank holiday was deliverd on the 31st May. When it was unpacked by the driver HE found the lid was badly damaged so we were given 3 options: 1 keep the new one and try to get a discount: 2 keep the new one until we get a replacement: 3 keep our old freezer. so we took option 2. The driver then left with the old one. When the office opened we spoke to Sainsburys and were told we could not use the damaged freezer we had been left with but we would be sent a replacement in two weeks after. I have never used Sainsburys kitchen appliances before, and I am very impressed with the overall service and product purchased. Definitely will use service again if the need arises.
