Just bought the new Exilim V7 and I really think it's great! Excellent 7x zoom and very clear good looking photos, even the videos are very steady because of the anti-shake system and I just love it.

Although I heard some comments and very negative reviews saying it takes very poor quality photos and that it's so bad they had to return it... I don't know.

So far, it hasn't disappointed me and I had a Konica-Minolta and a Fujifilm before.

The only annoying thing is you'd need the Cradle to recharge the battery, to view your photos on TV screen and if you have not got a memory card reader because the camera itself does NOT come with any of those USB, DC and AV output, so you will not be able to insert and connect the cables you need to do these things. Specially if you're travelling, it would be nice if I could just connect the AC adapter cable to the camera straight away rather than using the cradle. It looks great though.

Ahh, one more thing, the sound or speaker is very poor

This is my 2nd digital cameras after my old Sony Cybershot T1 decided to pack up. I don't realy know much about photography so the digital camera must be easy to use. The auto mode of this canon A720 takes very good quality picture most of the times. I never read the User Manual yet I am still able to get good photo quality under speical conditions like the dark street by simply move the dial on the top to change mode.
