I bought one of these from the kodak online shop at the end of September 2007, attracted by the design, and my previous good experence of a Kodak Easyshare digital camera.

I've found that unless photos are taken in brilliant sunshine, the photos are so grainy as to be useless. This includes photos taken with a flash.

Thinking there must be a fault with the camera I contacted their customer care - I had just missed the one month window of opportunity for getting a refund, so after numerous, lengthy and exasperating conversations with various non-UK call centre staff, they agreed to take a look at it. The camera was duly returned with a note saying this sort of "noise" is normal for this camera - so not only am I stuck with a camera I can't use, but also the camera dock and memory card I bought to go with it.

As the camera had only just been released in the UK when I bought it, the only reviews I could find were, I now suspect, planted by people with a vested interest in encouraging
