For the technially minded, this filter blocks light below 720 nm and allows near-infrared light through, very similar to a Kodak Wratten 89B filter. It's a very dark, letting only a small amount of visible light through; holding it up to a bright light, you can see a faint deep-red image.These can be used with film cameras using Infra-Red Film or some older unmodified digital cameras. Not all digital cameras can see Infra-Red light a simple way to check yours is to point an infrared remote control at your camera, press a button & if you can see the red dot through the camera your OK (or do a google search) (More)
